April in Paris

I was lucky enough to find out a few weeks ago, that, like the Cole Portter song says, I love Paris in the Springtime too!

My sister, Marjorie, and I were in Paris for a week in mid-April, and we loved it, but we discovered that 5 1/2 days in Paris just isn’t enough time at all!!

I am still processing the 3000+ photographs that I took, but thought I could share a few of the highlights here. I will be adding a selection of prints from the trip to my Etsy shop in the next little while too.

How awesome to travel to Paris!
Love that round-ish wheat coloured room with the cross in it?
    And such grand architecture!

Thanks Ardean! Paris was a dream – but a week was NOT enough time by far.
The room with the cross is the Catacombs of Paris – it is far underground (old gypsum mines) and the walls are all lines with bones moved from various grave yards throughout the city. Very spooky, but totally interesting and beautiful at the same time.
